Designation of Technical services
The Designation body is located in the KBA office Dresden. It operates in the so called legally regulated (mandatory) area on the basis of German and international road traffic legislation and of the international standard ISO/IEC 17011.
In connection with designation of Technical services in accordance with the framework directive 2007/46/EC, the Designation body acts also as Recognition body in accordance with the Decree on re-organisation of legislation for EC approval procedures (EG-FGV).
