System evaluation

The section in charge of system evaluation is located in the Dresden office.

As part of the approval procedure, competences of Technical services (Designation of Technical services) as well as quality assurance of manufacturers (holders of approvals) are evaluated (CoP-Q).

Furthermore, the Dresden office is in charge of evaluation of quality and security standards in

• Manufacturing of registration certificates part I
• Manufacturing and personalisation of driving license cards
• Manufacturing of EC tachographs (vehicle units) and personalisation of tachograph cards
• Handling of digital certificates and keys

(Other procedures).
