I took the first step on my path at the KBA with my training as an IT clerk. I decided on this path at the time based on recommendations from my family and positive contact with KBA employees at a job fair.

The three-year training period was very varied and entertaining. Afterwards I gained professional experience in procedure support, controlling and quality management in the statistics department, which among other things offers a wide range of statistical services based on the KBA registers. Parallel to my professional activities at the KBA, I successfully completed a degree in business informatics (B. Sc.). Building on this, I subsequently started a Master’s degree. The KBA allows various types of flexible working hours, such as flexitime, individual part-time models and working from home. These options made it much easier for me to complete my studies while working - in general, the opportunities for further education and training as well as the support from the KBA in this area are another big plus!
