Market Surveillance Report
In 2019, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), as the responsible Market Surveillance authority in the road vehicle sector, started the regular publication of the results of its work in a Market Surveillance Report. A major focus of its work is and remains the verification of pollutant emissions from vehicles, but it also focuses on other conformity and monitoring topics, particularly in the area of vehicle safety.
Market Surveillance consists of three pillars: product investigations, recalls and sanctions. The Market Surveillance Report provides current figures on these pillars as well as other information worth knowing.
