Basis of designation

Designation is based on the following regulatory acts

• EC Vehicle Approval Ordinance (EG-FGV)
• Act on the revision of the Agreement of 20 March 1958 on the adoption of uniform conditions of approval of equipment and parts of motor vehicles and on the mutual recognition of authorisation
• Decree on testing and approval of a type of vehicle parts and their marking (Vehicle Parts Ordinance (FzTV)).
