The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) provides technical data sets to the vehicle registration authorities for the automated completion of the registration documents.
Since the end of 2019, this technical data sets where offered in form of CoC-data as well. In addition to the type data, that has been reliably made available for decades, the CoC-data considers the need for individual technical data generated by introduction of the WLTP measurement cycle, which cannot be met by type data.
Information about emission-, fuel consumption- and pollutant-type test values, and as well as manufacturers and types of vehicles (categories L, M, N, O and T), based on the type datasets, are offered as publication. You can reach these publications directly via the download section indicated below.
It also contains the list of manufacturers of motor vehicles and trailers which have National Manufacturer codes (HSN), that has been assigned by KBA.
