Exchange of documents

Documents are exchanged electronically in the type-approval procedure. The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) recommends the participation in a free of charge “E-Typ” procedure.

The benefits are:

• no limitation to the data size
• safe exchange with https including mandate ability
• status monitoring of applications
