REQUIREMENTS
The following information have to be sent to KBA in a readable (with activated Optical Character Recognition (OCR)) and complete package:
- starting data (only in German) (data to check authenticity of the applicant and in order to carry out administrative procedures)*
- application (only in German) letter of applicant (natural or legal person)
- test report of designated technical service for whole vehicles.
- information to approval document according to annex III, model D of Regulation (EU) 2020/683**
- vehicle information according to annex III, appendix 1 of Regulation (EU) 2020/683**
- two pictures of the vehicle (3/4-view from front and back, min. 640x480 pixel)
- in case of multi stage Type Approval: Certificate of conformity of each stage**
The information according row 3-7 has to be sent directly from technical service to KBA. If the applicant is not in contact with KBA before, the technical service can also send all information (including starting data and application letter)
The documents should be transfered electronically via document exchange system or e-mail
