* The values in brackets for the minimum age refer to the training occupation "professional driver" or comparable occupations (see § 10 Driving Licence Ordinance). For category B, accompanied driving is also possible from the age of 17 (see § 48a of the Driving Licence Ordinance).
- The weights are the permissible total weight, for class S the unladen weight.
- The new driving licence classes at the time of conversion are listed in Annex 3 of the Driving Licence Ordinance.
Vested rights from the previous classes are retained. There are also the additional rights from the comparable new classes from 19.01.2013 without exchanging the driving licence.
